Experimental testing

There are some particularly critical factors in the production process. For this reason, and to provide up-to-date and comprehensive advice on biomass energy, Biopoplar has carried out specific tests, in cooperation with research institutes and universities, aimed at assessing:

  • leaf dehydration during critical periods for evaporation;
  • fertilisation with different types of fertilisers;
  • yield and humidity of wood chips produced;
  • response to irrigation.
